2003 Ignatz Award Nominees Announced
The Small Press Expo (SPX) has announced the nominations for the 2003
Ignatz Awards, spotlighting a wide range of comics creators, titles, and
publishers.
According to a press release from the Small Press Expo (SPX), the Ignatz Awards are "a festival prize to recognize outstanding achievement in comics and cartooning. The ballot is created by a panel of five cartoonists and then voted on by the attendees of the show. This offers a unique reflection of the views held by both professionals and their fans." The awards will be presented on Sunday, September 7, at this year's Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD.
