Shonen Jump to Feature Akira Toriyama-Illustrated Dragonball Posters
Viz, LLC has announced that Dragonball and Dragonball Z
creator Akira Toriyama will provide gatefold posters featuring those
properties for a number of upcoming issues of Viz's Shonen Jump,
including the January-solicited Volume 2 #5 May 2004
(JAN042799E).
In addition to Shonen Jump's May 2004 issue, these exclusive posters will also appear in the best-selling manga magazine's June 2004 (solicited in the February Previews), July 2004, August 2004, September 2004, October 2004, and November 2004 issues. (Please Note: Due to the late announcement of these additions, Shonen Jump's February solicitation will not include information about the Toriyama poster.)
Retailers should also note that Shonen Jump will be the only source for all-new, Toriyama-illustrated Dragonball and Dragonball Z art in 2004, making these issues irresistible to fans of the wildly popular anime and manga series.
