What aspect of your store are you most proud? The diversity that 20 years in business has brought about. We have a little bit of everything but never stray too far from our core - comic books.
What do you do that is innovative within your store? We manage to fit a wide variety of product in our store (statues, action figures, cards) without giving the impression of over-crowding. We utilize custom slat wall mounted lucite new comic displays along with tags to denote the week's new books. Our back issue units are also custom made; two levels of boxes ensure that most popular titles can be represented on top with longer runs in the pull-out drawers.
What has been your best promotion? Word of mouth. We also have a birthday club where customers are offered a coupon good for a large discount valid during their birthday month.
What recent changes have you made to your store? New carpet, new fixtures, new displays.
What are your plans for the near future? A full upgrade of our website and our 20th anniversary sale.
How did you choose your store name? The name is a composite of our initials, Joe and Jeff Conzolo.
