Products Carried: Comics (New, Back Issues), Graphic Novels, Toys, T-Shirts, Other Apparel, Models & Statues, Trading Cards (Non-Sport), RPGs, CCGs, Miniature Games, Posters, Supplies (Comic and Non-Comic), Cutlery/Swords, Board Games, Dice.
Special Events: We hold monthly Xbox 360 and gaming tournaments (Warhammer 40K, Warmachine, Hordes, L5R, Warhammer Fantasy).
How was your FCBD event? Free Comic Book Day 2011 was our most successful FCBD ever.
What aspect of your store are you most proud of? We have one of the largest comic/game stores in our area. We strive to be the best as well. We have a clean, well lit and well organized store.
What do you do that is innovative within your store? You would be hard pressed to find a comic and game shop that sells a more diverse line of products. It would also be very difficult to find one as well stocked as ours.
What has been your best in-store promotion? Our Black Friday storewide 30% off sale. We had the 501st on hand to enforce order amidst all the shopping chaos.
What has been your best out-of-store or cross-promotion? We did an Xbox 360 Halo 3 team tournament with a local radio station. There were 250 participants. I also set up a table for every comic movie this summer at Regal Cinemas' corporate headquarters theater here in Knoxville.
What recent changes have you made to your store? We recently rearranged the entire front of the store. It is now much more open.
What are your plans for the near future? To sell more comics and games.
How did you choose your store name? We are named after our Orlando location, which has been open for approximately 30 years.
